Bored With the Bar Scene

Maybe it is my age or the bars scene is dying, but I don't think that I am going to waste time by going out anymore. Before I went to Southern California, I went out every weekend. It was a daily ritual for me, but when I went out last night, I was so bored. There really was not anybody, who I wanted to talk to. The majority of people at the bar, were looking to look up with others. I just wanted interesting conversation. I want to meet somebody, but I don't feel that the bars are the place that I went to meet that special person. In Indiana, people, tend to go to the same old people, and unless you are part of the lame culture, they don't want to communicate with you. I am not bitter about going out, but I am in a different part of my life now and unless I am going to a party to network with a possible agent, manager, or film director, I don't want to waste time going out to be around losers. I was talking with one of my co workers about a idea for a sitcom. When you work at a tv station that runs master control for six television stations across the country, you talk to a lot of bizarre. I would love to do a tv series about the comical things that happen in the news department of a tv station. I am going to combine people from the WGNO & FOX 59 news departments. I hope it turns out well. Hope to talk to you all soon.
